Christmas Eve Lords supper

We have enjoyed several great guest preachers lately at Highland Baptist Church. Here is a message from the latest: Otis Pierce wrote after his message of December 21, 2018. Hello dear friends. Hey, friends around my original home of Bogalusa, last Sunday at 10:30 AM, this old street preacher was at Highland Baptist Church. The sermon was one of nine message/monologues I do from the book of John entitled, “Who is Jesus”. As I started my monologue/sermon/song, I asked the rather large congregation, Who is Jesus? To my surprise a little girl in the back raised her hand. So, I stopped, walked down out of the pulpit, down the aisle close to where she and her family were sitting, and asked her again. She said, “He is Son of God”. Wow! Just Wow!! For that, this precious one got a special song from Jesus through this old street preacher.. What a wonderful uplifting spirit I have noticed in all of you that I have spoken with lately. Loving, caring, kind, and rejoicing everywhere I go lately. Wow! Could it be our great rejoicing is over the first coming of our Lord Jesus Christ? I believe it is! Joy is everywhere I go! Wow! Just Wow!!! Praise God, Hallelujah, thank You Jesus!!! I don’t think I have been more overcome and more blessed while preaching than at that very special moment. Thank You Jesus for these very special and precious children You are giving us.
